All Purpose Biscuits

No matter what I make for dinner, if I make these, Jacob thinks it's the best meal ever.  Perfect with soup in the fall.  We use them for biscuits and gravy, too. They are quick and easy to add to a meal at the last minute.  I like to double the recipe and freeze some for later.

Yum!

Ingredients:
2 cups flour
3/4 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup shortening (or butter)
1/4 cup vinegar
1/2 cup milk

Directions:
In a large bowl, sift together flour, baking soda, and salt.

Cut in shortening.  Stir in vinegar and milk until dough is sticky.  It should look like this:

Spoon into greased cookie sheet.

Bake at 450 degrees for 12-15 minutes, or until lightly golden brown.
